AANA CME Mission and Related Information
CME Mission Statement
The Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) is a provider organization accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). The organization exists to promote, encourage, support and foster the development of continuing medical education activities that are free of commercial bias and designed to disseminate knowledge, competence and performance as well as improve the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injury to the musculoskeletal system.
Disclosures of Interest
In accordance with ACCME guidelines, it is AANA policy that faculty and planners disclose to learners all financial relationships during the past 24 months with any ineligible company (any entity whose primary business is producing, marketing, reselling or distributing health care products used by or on patients). All disclosures will be listed in the final programs, agendas and/or onsite materials that are distributed during designated activities. In accordance with AANA policy, faculty participation is predicated upon timely submission and review of disclosures. Noncompliance results in faculty being stricken from the program.
