Description
This lab is designed to give attendees exposure to multiple blood, bone marrow and adipose processing systems used for orthobiologic procedures. The lab will cover multiple tips and techniques and will focus on best practices for BMC, MFat and PRP procedures. Participants will move through different stations and will learn evidence based techniques to efficiently make these orthobiologics. This is a hands-on cadaver lab with instructor guidance.

In this lab, participants will learn basic diagnostic ultrasound techniques for shoulder, hip, and knee. Participants will also learn about basic ultrasound guided procedures for the same joints as a foundation for orthobiologic injections. Ultrasound fundamentals covered will include identifying tissue structures, normal and abnormal anatomy, and basic needle targeting. Each participant will be hands-on with live patient models and instructor guidance in small groups to allow for a personalized lab experience.
